Butter Herbed Rice

Ingredients

  • Red bell pepper
  • Yellow bell pepper
  • Green bell pepper
  • Sweet corn kernels(boiled)
  • Green peas(boiled)
  • Italian Herbs(readymade mix)
  • Garlic
  • Rice
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Butter

Method:

  • Soak around 200gms of rice in cold water bowl for around 15 mins then cook it till its 3/4th cooked and rice grains do not stick
  • Chop the bell peppers into small cubes and finely chop the garlic
  • In a pan add 1 tablespoon butter when the butter melts add garlic.
  • Saute the garlic for few seconds then add the chopped peppers and saute it for 3-4 mins.
  • Add boiled sweet corn kernels and boiled green peas and cook for few mins.
  • Add the Italian herbs mix and add the 3/4th cooked rice.
  • Mix all the ingredients properly.
  • Add salt and black pepper to taste
  • Add little water and let the rice cook completely
  • Serve hot with any spicy curry
